Long-term, sustainable economic development in downtown Anacostia begins with the appreciation of …HISTORIC PRESERVATION. Typically, when you hear people talk about what it will take to see economic prosperity in Anacostia they mention new stores, offi ce space, new homes, new residents and jobs for longtime residents.
